Kiari Gerba

President & Founder

Kiari Gerba is a Montreal-based DJ, electronic music producer, and entrepreneur. The youngest of four children, Kiari holds a degree in finance from Concordia University and played college basketball for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees. As the CEO and founder of KLU Productions, he leads a variety of creative projects, including the Missing In Action Music Festival. Previously, Kiari co-founded Studio Kréateur, where over 50 different podcasts have been recorded.

Kiari made history as the first Black contestant to reach the finale of Quebec’s popular TV show, Occupation Double. His DJ career has taken him to international venues such as Bonbonnière in Tulum and Laissez-Faire in New York City, as well as major Canadian locations like Beachclub and the Escapade Music Festival. His deep understanding of the entertainment industry was shaped by his years working at the Casino de Montréal, while his business acumen grew from his experience at TD Canada Trust.
Kiari draws inspiration from his family, particularly his mother, Amina Gerba, a Canadian senator, and his brother, Ali Gerba, a former Canadian soccer player.
